Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and define test coverage.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases across web and mobile platforms.
- Build and enhance the automation test suite integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct functional, regression, API, and UI testing to ensure stable releases.
- Log, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution through clear communication with stakeholders.
- Document test strategies, cases, and results for transparency and repeatability.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and reporting methods.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Support release readiness by validating builds and conducting smoke or sanity checks.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in software QA or test engineering, ideally in a product-based environment.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies — functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
- Experience integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Good to have Skills
- Exposure to product-based companies or SaaS environments.
- Experience with monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Sentry, Datadog).
- Familiarity with microservices, GraphQL, and backend validation.
- Experience in performance, load, or security testing.
- Understanding of usability testing or product feedback loops.
