Responsibilities 

  1. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and define test coverage. 
  2. Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases across web and mobile platforms. 
  3. Build and enhance the automation test suite integrated with CI/CD pipelines. 
  4. Conduct functional, regression, API, and UI testing to ensure stable releases. 
  5. Log, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution through clear communication with stakeholders. 
  6. Document test strategies, cases, and results for transparency and repeatability. 
  7. Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and reporting methods. 
  8. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. 
  9. Support release readiness by validating builds and conducting smoke or sanity checks. 

Required Skills 

  1. 2–3 years of experience in software QA or test engineering, ideally in a product-based environment. 
  2. Strong understanding of QA methodologies — functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing. 
  3. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium. 
  4. Experience integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). 
  5. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail). 
  6. Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management. 
  7. Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills. 
  8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

Good to have Skills

  1. Exposure to product-based companies or SaaS environments. 
  2. Experience with monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Sentry, Datadog). 
  3. Familiarity with microservices, GraphQL, and backend validation. 
  4. Experience in performance, load, or security testing. 
  5. Understanding of usability testing or product feedback loops.
